As you may be aware, the Kenosha County Parks Department has recently opened three dog parks to the public: the Carlisle Family Dog Park at Petrifying Springs Park, the Dog Park at Old Settlers Park, and the Warren Close Bark Park at KD Park. The dog parks provide the perfect setting for the community and families to come together, as well as promote a healthy, active lifestyle for our canine companions. From fundraising alone, we were able to generate the amount necessary to get these parks started. However, the dog parks are run solely by donations, not by taxpayer money. To keep these dog parks functional and well-maintained, fundraising must continue. We are now offering an opportunity for local businesses to sponsor the Kenosha County Dog Parks on our dog parks website. In return for your support, we would display your business logo and information on the Kenosha County Dog Parks website, http://www.co.kenosha.wi.us/publicworks/parks/dogparks/; the sizing and location of your business information would be dependent upon the amount of sponsorship provided. Sponsorship of the Kenosha County Dog Parks will demonstrate to area residents your support of the local community and show that your business promotes the goal of a healthy, active, and social lifestyle for all pets. One-hundred percent of the money received from sponsorships will go directly back into the dog parks to help with the cost of maintenance and improvements. The countless pages of “fan photos” in the “photo gallery” should give a clear idea of just how many people spend time at our dog parks and are interacting with our website; displaying your logo and information on our website would provide the opportunity for animal enthusiasts to see your business every time they log on.
